Should you require an Urgent Same Day Appointment, the receptionist will arrange for a Doctor or Triage Nurse to speak to you. Often they can deal with your problem over the telephone but should they need to see you they will arrange this. You may be offered an appointment with our Nurse Practitioner or Nursing team as they are often able to help. We also continue to offer Routine Appointments which you can book in advance

To Request a Home Visit.
If you are too ill to come to the surgery, please phone the surgery before 10 am and a Doctor will contact you to arrange an appropriate assessment, and will visit you if necessary.
Urgent visit requests will be accepted at any time and we do appreciate as much information as possible so that the degree of urgency can be assessed.

We are constantly trying to make our appointment system more accessible to provide our patients with the most efficient service possible. We hope that waiting is kept to a minimum. If you do have to wait it is usually because we are dealing with something urgent, or a previous Patient has required more time than anticipated, and we hope you will understand.

Unfortunately, no NHS appointment system is perfect and we understand at times there may be difficulties experienced. Please be patient with our receptionists at these times - they are here to help you. Thank you for your understanding.

Touch Screen Arrival System – It's easy!                           Normally when you arrive at the surgery, you go to the front desk to tell us you are here for your appointment. The new touch screen arrival system will give you the option of bypassing this by registering your arrival on a very simple electronic system in the reception area. This has been introduced in response to a patient survey which highlighted the difficulties of queuing at the main desk. Go on – have a go!!!
