Please request your medication by clicking here (our usual online form). Or use the "Patient Access" Website or App (register online & ask our reception team to arrange a code). Or by emailing us on oldfarm.surgery@nhs.net
Don't forget that prescriptions take 3 working days to process. Then allow a few more days for your pharmacist to prepare the medication
(We don't accept written prescription requests to minimise infection risk)
Over The Counter Medication:
Your GP, nurse or pharmacist will not generally give you a prescription for over the counter medicines. Even if you qualify for free prescriptions.
Instead, over the counter medicines are available to buy in a pharmacy or supermarket. The team of health professionals at your local pharmacy can offer help and advice to manage minor health concerns. If your symptoms suggest it’s more serious, they’ll ensure you get the care you need. Please help the NHS to use resources sensibly.
